ALL ABOUT ACTS

ACTS of Kindness Animal Rescue in partnership with ACTS (Aspire Community Therapy Services, Association) actively rescues potbellied pigs and goats, provides quality care, and offers sanctuary until loving homes can be found.

ACTS sits on a 2.5 acre site in Gilbert, AZ. It is a rescue where we not only provide necessities such as food, shelter and medical care for our rescued pigs, but also the loving arms of people who genuinely care about these animals. On any given day you may will find piggies of all ages, sizes, and breeds. We actively search out suitable homes for these pigs, by listing them on our website and outsourcing our referral sources. Our screening process includes an in depth application, reference checks, and a home visit to ensure the home and family is compatible with the pets’ needs and our requirements. We ask adoptive owners to sign a detailed contract obliging them to give the animals a loving home.

ACTS is a non-profit, no-kill organization dedicated to reducing overpopulation, abuse and neglect of animals. We will care for an animal regardless of how long it takes to find a home, except in extraordinary circumstances, such as incurable illness or severe and dangerous behavioral problems. Animals are admitted by appointment only.

In addition to animal rescue, ACTS partners with Aspire Therapy to provide therapy services to children with disabilities in an environment that allows for animal interaction and incorporation of animals into treatment sessions.

ACTS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Tax ID# 84-2379493

MORE THAN A FARM

Pediatric Therapy Services

While animal rescue is our passion, ACTS is much more than a farm! ACTS has the unique opportunity to provide pediatric therapy services on our fully functional animal rescue farm! Research has shown that incorporating animals into therapy sessions can increase language skills, social interactions, engagement, and active engagement in therapeutic and learning processes. It is our goal that, by providing a rescue environment for our animals, we will not only improve their quality of life, but we will also promote increased skill develop for our clients of all ages through provision of occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech therapy services.
