ACTS of Kindness at a Glance
A Distinct Identity
ACTS of Kindness knows that our strength lies not only in the words we stand by, but most importantly through the actions of our initiatives. Our Animal Rescue Service realized that by working together we could overcome our challenges much more efficiently, and that is why we ultimately decided to launch ACTS of Kindness.
Acts of Kindness Animal Rescue in partnership with Acts (Aspire Community Therapy Services, Association) actively rescues potbellied pigs and goats, provides quality care and offers sanctuary until loving homes can be found.
ACTS work with animals, within our community and throughout the organization is guided by three core values: compassion, integrity and dedication.

All about ACTS of Kindness:
ACTS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Your contributions make our work possible.
ACTs veterinary team ensures all animals for adoption are spayed/neutered prior to an adoption.
ACTS has a network of rescue units to assist in transport to the sanctuary.
All donations and proceeds benefit the Adoption Center only.
ACTS is a “no kill” adoption center. We will care for an animal regardless of how long it takes to find a home, except in extraordinary circumstances, such as incurable illness or severe and dangerous behavioral problems. Animals are admitted by appointment only.
A No-Kill Shelter
ACTS is a non-profit, no-kill organization dedicated to reducing overpopulation, abuse and neglect of animals. ACTS is run entirely by compassionate like-minded professionals who volunteer their time and resources to help save the lives and then care for these animals.
We are a 501(C) 3 Non-Profit Organization; our Tax ID# is 84-2379493
ACTS of Kindness is dedicated to the following goals:
The rescue of lost and abandoned animals in our community
Providing food, shelter and vet care to those in need
Promoting spay and neutering to end the suffering of overpopulation and unwanted animals.
Adoption of healthy animals back into loving homes.
Goal for 2020-21
Build the Gilbert site to be a fully functioning rescue with pens, mister systems, houses and grassy play areas. To convert the barn and other structures into a vet clinic and therapy center to help children with disabilities achieve their goals of Physical, Occupational and Speech therapy through animal engagement.
What We Do
ACTS sits on a 2.5 acre site in Gilbert, AZ Rescue where we not only provide necessities such as food, shelter and medical care for our rescued pigs, but also the loving arms of people who genuinely care about these animals. On any given day you may will find piggy’s of all ages, sizes and breeds. We actively search out suitable homes for these pigs, by listing them on our website and outsourcing our referral sources. Our screening process includes an in depth application, reference checks, and a home visit to ensure the home and family is compatible with the pets’ needs and our requirements. We ask adoptive owners to sign a detailed contract obliging them to give the animals a loving home.
ACTS also actively educates our community about spaying and neutering their pets. We provide financial aid to individuals who need help spaying or neutering their pets. This is one of our greatest missions.
In addition to animal rescue, it is our intent to partner with Aspire Therapy to provide physical, occupational and speech therapy to children with disabilities using the calming effect of animals.
How we do it
ACTS is run entirely by those who are dedicated to helping educate, foster and adopt animal. We do not receive any government funding only by support and donations from private individuals and local companies who care and want to support us with our mission. Based on our experience housing rescued pigs it is estimated that the yearly cost for caring for a pig is roughly $1,800. This cost includes food, veterinary exams, spay/neuter/ vaccinations. That does not include the cost of the property and grounds in which they live.
Thank you for helping the homeless and spay and neuter your pets!
